Here's an update on the current real estate market in Calgary.
As of 1:00 pm on November 15, 2010 we had 6,861 listings within the City of Calgary limits (single family homes and condos combined - Active and Pending). This a decrease by 600 from 7,441 on October 14, 2010. Number of sales in the last 30 days went down to 1,216 from 1,287 a month ago. At the same time, the Absorption Rate (number of months of supply) has slightly improved - it came down to 5.63 from 5.87 a month ago.

As of 10:30 am on October 14, 2010 we had 7,441 listings (Active and Pending). In the last 30 days 1,287 listings got sold. That gives us Absorption Rate of 5.78 months of supply. At the same time 2,790 new listings came on the market in the last 30 days.
